Sub-processors
Running CaseLawDigest means using a small number of suppliers. They act on our instructions, they may not use anything we send them for their own purposes, and each one is under a written contract that requires it. This page lists all of them. Last updated 28 August 2026.
Suppliers who handle subscriber data

Suppliers who do not handle subscriber data

Anthropic receives no subscriber data of any kind: no names, no email addresses, no practice areas, no record of what anyone has read. What it receives is the text of judgments already published by The National Archives. Those judgments contain personal data about the people involved in the cases, so the transfer is covered by the UK IDTA and by a data processing agreement, and Anthropic is contractually barred from using what we send it to train its models.
What we do ourselves
Our visit counter is Umami, which we run on our own server rather than using anyone’s hosted version. Nothing about a visit to this site is sent to a third party for analytics.
Changes
If we add a sub-processor, or change what one of them does, we will update this page and tell subscribers by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. If you would rather hear about it and are not a subscriber, write to support@caselawdigest.co.uk.
