The claimant is the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia (Cultural Bureau); the defendants, Ms Linda Antuan and Ms Nora Chikh Bakr, are former employees whose employment ended in January and March 2023 respectively following a restructuring. Both have brought Employment Tribunal claims, including unfair dismissal and discrimination, which remain ongoing and are defended, the claimant having raised a state immunity issue not yet determined. Arising out of the disclosure the defendants gave as claimants in the tribunal litigation, and after correspondence about that disclosure, the claimant began this High Court action in March 2026, alleging breach of the employment contract and of the equitable obligation of confidence. On an application sealed on 17 March 2026, supported by an affidavit of Ms Mood, the claimant's Head of Legal Department, Choudhury J granted interim injunctions against both defendants at a hearing on 24 March 2026, the order being sealed on 25 March 2026: restraining use or disclosure of confidential information, requiring preservation of relevant documents, delivery up by 30 March 2026 and a witness statement by 1 April 2026; he refused an imaging order. The defendants, acting in person, applied on 17 June 2026 to discharge or set aside that order and for further relief.
