The applicant, Dabir Nozrul Islam Ahmed, applied to HM Land Registry on 19 October 2024 for Form A restrictions on two east London titles — 6 Bristol Road and 112 Strone Road — asserting a beneficial interest under trust deeds each dated 18 August 2021. Six Bristol Road was then owned by Cleveland Holdings Investments Limited and 112 Strone Road by St Martins Investment & Management Limited, both companies of which Dr Anisah Tariq is sole director and shareholder; Dr Tariq is the former partner of the applicant's brother, Mr Mohammad Kamal Ahmed. Both properties were offered at auction on 12 September 2024, 6 Bristol Road being bought by MPL Estates Limited for £495,000 and transferred to it on 21 October 2024, with registration taking effect from 24 October 2024. The night before the auction the applicant had unsuccessfully sought an injunction to stop the sales, relying then on quite different deeds of 18 October 2019 and 12 May 2021. Dr Tariq objected that her signatures on the August 2021 deeds were forged, copied and pasted from other documents. The applications were referred to the Tribunal on 22 July 2025, a single joint handwriting expert was instructed, and Mr Suleman Susiwala was joined as fifth respondent so as to be bound by relevant findings.
