Facts
PARG Limited appealed to the First-tier Tribunal (General Regulatory Chamber) against The Pensions Regulator, lodging its appeal on the GRC1 form on 23 December 2025. The Tribunal issued directions dated 26 February 2026 requiring the appellant to submit a Case Management Questionnaire, and further directions dated 24 April 2026 requiring the submission of a Certificate of Compliance. The appellant complied with neither, and the Tribunal held no record of any correspondence from the appellant responding to those directions in any way. By further directions dated 15 June 2026, the appellant was directed to provide a completed certificate of compliance to the Tribunal by 26 June 2026, and was directed to note that a failure to comply could lead to the Tribunal striking out the appeal for failure to comply without further notice. The appellant did not comply with that direction either. The matter was determined without a hearing, the Tribunal considering whether grounds existed to strike out the appeal under rule 8(3)(a) for non-compliance with a direction. The decision was given on 19 August 2026.
